Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both a member and the captain of the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics, in London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze medal on the balance beam. This meant that she was the very first American to compete at an Olympics who had the most amount of medals. At the 2016 Olympics she was awarded gold for the team event, which earned her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been one of the very first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals for the team. Also, silver medals were awarded at the all-around event and floor exercises. Between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. In addition she was part of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her most favorite sport is floor workouts. Aly contributes to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. As for the future, she plans to make a career out of fashion. Aly would like to expand her line of leotards and her socks. Fierce is a novel she plans to release later in the year.
